It was addressed by Com. D.Raja General Secretary CPI, Amarjeet Kaur Secretary CPI, Prof. R.C. Thakran , Prof. Dinesh Varshney Secretary CPI Delhi State Council.
Memorial meeting was also attended by Dr. B. Kango , the Secretary CPI. It was Presided by Com.Dhirendra Sharma, National Council Member CPI.
The speakers lauded the Role of All three professors in the field of writing History in scientific manner. They said that they faced many attacks in their life as well as on their writings from Communal force's. D. Raja said that Prof. D.N.Jha wrote MYTH OF HOLY COW. IN THIS BOOK he showed with historical facts about the so called myth about cow.
Prof. R.L. Shukla wrote History of Modern India. He Edited Social Science Probings .
Prof.Arjun Dev Brought one of finest books from NCERT.
Amarjeet Kaur said all three Historians not were the champions of Secular and scientific History but also stood in public also against those forces who tried to impose their Communal agenda in History teaching.
Prof. R.C. Thakran explained in details of their Contribution to not only history but also creating rational Historians in the country. Throughout India their Students and admirers of their writings Could be found.
Prof. Dinesh Varshney recounted his experience with Prof . D.N. Jha and Prof. R.L. Shukla. He said that during students days their teachings were great. He also spoke how Prof . Arjun Dev played very important role in shaping the history of Civilizations .
